We're currently looking for an experienced Trading Standards Investigator to join a Local Authority team in West London on an initial 6-month contract
, with the potential for further extension as part of a wider 2-3-year enforcement strategy.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Trading Standards professional to support a multi-agency enforcement strategy
, tackling counterfeit goods and complex investigations.

• Investigate counterfeit goods and trading offences
  .
• Support complex investigations and enforcement activity.
• Contribute to investigations involving product safety
  .
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
  .
• Gather evidence and support appropriate enforcement action.
• Apply broad Trading Standards knowledge to a range of investigations.

• Strong experience in Local Authority Trading Standards
  .
• Experience conducting complex investigations
  .
• Good knowledge of product safety and counterfeit goods
  .
• Strong investigative, communication and evidence-gathering skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-agency team.

Experience in counterfeit goods investigations, product safety enforcement and complex cases would be particularly advantageous.
