We are hiring a full-time Hair & Makeup Artist to join our flagship East London studio. This is a fast‑paced, on-your-feet‑all‑day role where you are integral to the energy, timing, and transformation of every guest. You’ll work side‑by‑side with our photographers to create our signature Body & Soul looks and hold an emotionally safe, empowering space for women throughout their session.

There is no sales in this role. Your success is measured by your artistry, timing, and the experience you create.

• Create high-quality, camera-ready hair and makeup that enhances each woman’s natural beauty and confidence.
• Run to hard timings: start every look on time, finish on time, and support 2‑hour sessions that run to the minute.
• Be on your feet and engaged all day, assisting the photographer between sets, adjusting looks, fixing flyaways, and keeping energy high.
• Capture and share behind-the-scenes content during the day to showcase our transformation process.
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, helping them feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
• Maintain an immaculate, calm, and organized beauty area and studio environment.
• Learn and embody our signature aesthetic and guest experience standards.
• Protect guest confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Collaborate with the wider studio team to keep the whole day running smoothly.

• 95%+ of your sessions start and finish on time.
• Consistent 4.8+ average guest satisfaction scores mentioning you by name.
• BTS content captured and uploaded for almost every session you work.
• Your station is spotless and fully stocked at every spot-check.
• You are certified in our “Body & Soul look” and trusted on our busiest days.

• You get satisfaction from hitting tight timings and following checklists.
• You care deeply about women feeling powerful and beautiful in their own skin.
• You’re in a season of life where you want to go all‑in on your craft, even if that means long, intense days rather than “perfect balance.”
• You love the idea of thousands of London women seeing your work, tagging you, and singing your praises.
• You thrive in a high-standard, honest, direct, team‑first environment.

• You prefer a desk, long breaks, or a slow, quiet pace.
• You prefer loose, go‑with‑the‑flow days over tight schedules and fixed rotas.
• You dislike structure, feedback, or being measured on performance.
• You currently need strict work‑life balance, fixed 9–5 hours, and minimal evenings/weekends.
• You are uncomfortable holding space for women through potentially very vulnerable moments (forget stuffy professional – we go deep).

• Professional hair and makeup experience with portfolio (soft glam / natural focus).
• Comfortable getting deep with 3 guests per day, on your feet most of the time.
• Strong hygiene standards and product/tool care.
• Experience or confidence capturing simple BTS content (phone is fine).
• Weekend availability (this role includes regular weekend shifts).
