ASOS is looking for a Hair & Make‑Up stylist who brings fashion focus, trend awareness and passion for hair styling. This role supports our creative studio team to deliver look‑ready models and a seamless shoot process.
What You’ll Be Doing- Produce a great standard of hair styling true to the ASOS aesthetic appealing to the 20‑something customer.
- Work to deadlines ensuring models are shoot‑ready on time.
- Build relationships and rapport with ASOS models, instil trust in your hair ability.
- Deal with model issues professionally in line with ASOS behaviours policy.
- Work with the model booking team to maximise each model’s potential and create best shoot experience.
- Work with the wider shoot team to solve issues on set and help facilitate a smooth shoot process.
- Work under your lead to produce, develop and execute looks.
- Take on feedback constructively, critique your own work efficiently.
- Attend hair and/or makeup courses set up by the business to up‑skill yourself.
- Be a responsible member of the studio team, facilitating smooth communication across shoot locations.
- Follow all creative and operational hair and make‑up and wider studio processes.
- Have full understanding of the ASOS customer and target audience.
- Stay aware of latest and upcoming trends, following each season’s catwalk shows, influencers, Tik Tok, competitors and street styles.
- Suggest ways to bring these trends to ASOS and work with your lead and seniors to execute them.
- Carry out daily administrative tasks.
- Contribute to problem solving through meetings and 1:1’s with your lead.
- Maintain/clean equipment and products daily to keep a professional & sanitary environment.
- Participate in team and departmental meetings.
- Be recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department.

- Qualification in hairstyling is essential or experience working with hair within an e‑commerce setting.
- Experience with all hair texture types; basic experience in wigs, weaves and extensions required.
- Previous fashion e‑commerce experience is favourable.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Work well under time pressures.
- Stay calm in fast‑paced environment, remain proactive and professional.
- Adapt quickly to change, remain positive.
- Great attention to detail, present product in best way possible.

- Good knowledge of Excel & Powerpoint.
