We are currently looking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Wigs, Hair and Makeup Technician.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for:

  • Knotting and maintaining wigs and facial hair
  • Setting and dressing wigs and facial hair
  • Cutting and styling all hair types
  • Executing professional makeup looks on all skin tones

    • With experience in large-scale productions, you will thrive under pressure, demonstrating strong technical ability, speed and creativity.

    Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with wigs, hair and makeup in a fast-paced environment on large theatre productions
  • Proven ability to make foundations and knot wigs
  • A good working knowledge of makeup and its application on all skin tones
  • Proven ability of working with all hair textures including preparation for wigs and styling hair for performance
  • Hairdressing (cutting and colouring) and barbering skills on all hair types
  • Willingness to undergo training as necessary
  • Self-reliant with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Closing date: 14 Apr

    Salary: £35,648.36 per annum pro rata

    Contract:

    Fixed term contract until 9th March 2026
