The closing date is 12 January 2026
We're on a journey to transform clinical coding and shape the future of digital health - and you could be part of it.
We are seeking two experienced and motivated Specialist Clinical Coders to join our dynamic Clinical Coding Department at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
We're here to nurture future digital leaders and grow as one team. We work closely with our Talent Management and Organisation Development teams to create clear career pathways and a development-focused retention scheme that supports every colleague to grow and progress.
This is what modern coding looks like at Guy's and St Thomas':

- Cross-disciplinary teams.
- The confidence to innovate within a world-class digital ecosystem.
- A willingness to disrupt the status quo.
If you're ready to grow your career in a department that values insight as much as output - and wants to place coders at the heart of the NHS's digital future - we'd love to hear from you.
This role follows a hybrid working model. Onsite presence is expected as and when business needs require (typically 1 or 2 days per week) to support collaboration, knowledge sharing and consistency as the department continues its transformation.

- work closely with clinical teams to validate and enhance the quality of coded data
- take the lead on specific specialties and complex coding scenarios
- act as a mentor to junior coders and support their development
- contribute to clinical engagement, KPI monitoring, audit preparation and data quality improvement
