Location: Greater London
Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust’s Radiation Safety Section, based at Royal London Hospital, seeks a Physics & Imaging Technician to provide support to users of ionising radiation across the Trust. The role involves testing and maintaining imaging equipment, managing data, conducting audits and developing software.
Responsibilities- Test and maintain radiation and imaging equipment across all Trust and client sites.
- Handle data processing and analysis related to image quality and dose.
- Conduct radiological safety audits and support external contract sites.
- Develop and support software tools for imaging and safety applications.
- Travel to all Trust sites as required.
- BSc (Hons) in Physics or equivalent with a major physics component.
- Interest in modern digital imaging and radiation safety applications.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
