We have partnered with a mission driven Health Tech who are looking for a clinically-minded, hands-on Senior Ops Manager to lead the operational delivery of NHS-funded neurodiversity assessment pathways.

Leading a team of supervisors, coordinators, and analysts you'll ensure patients have smooth, timely journeys from start to finish. Working closely with clinical, governance, central operations, and NHS ICB teams, you’ll make sure the service runs efficiently, meets targets, and keeps getting better. This is a role where clinical understanding meets operational excellence—and where your decisions directly impact patient experience and outcomes.

What

you’ll do
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of ADHD and Autism assessment pathways.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire supervisors and their teams to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Manage escalations, complaints, incidents, safeguarding concerns, and data breaches with confidence.
  • Ensure clinical governance, compliance, and quality standards are always upheld.
  • Use data and KPIs to spot challenges, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with NHS ICBs, clinical operations, and central teams on planning, capacity, and performance.
  • Build a culture of high performance, learning, and patient-focused excellence.
What we’re looking for
  • Solid clinical or healthcare knowledge, ideally in mental health, neurodevelopment, or NHS settings.
  • Experience managing complex healthcare services and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident handling escalations, complaints, safeguarding, and incidents.
  • Data-driven and analytical, using insight to drive real operational improvements.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, skilled at working with NHS partners and internal teams.
  • Calm under pressure, empathetic, and solutions-focused.
  • Prior start-up experience in a similar field would be highly beneficial.
