Senior Physicist – MR‑Linac – The Harley Street Clinic
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent. Competitive salary + benefits.
About the RoleThe Senior Physicist (MR‑Linac) contributes to day‑to‑day operation of all medical physics aspects of online adaptive radiotherapy using the Unity MR‑Linac. You will work in a multi‑disciplinary team to provide online adaptive radiotherapy, gaining competence in MR‑Linac treatment planning, QA and dosimetry, and supporting development and implementation of online adaptive techniques.
Responsibilities- Work in a multidisciplinary team delivering online adaptive radiotherapy.
- Gain local competence in MR‑Linac treatment planning, QA and radiation dosimetry.
- Support development and implementation of online adaptive radiotherapy techniques.
- HCPC registration.
- Masters degree in a relevant scientific, technical or healthcare discipline.
- Experience in radiotherapy treatment planning.
- Experience working in a clinical environment.
- Practical experience with radiotherapy equipment (linacs, TPS, dosimetry).
- Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of ionising radiation and radiotherapy physics.
- Experience checking radiotherapy treatment plans.
- Experience with online adaptive processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of stereotactic planning and associated QA and dosimetry requirements.
- Experience using Monaco TPS.
- Experience using Eclipse TPS and Aria OIS.
