Senior Carer - Residential Care Home

Overview

As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members.

• Lead a team of care staff with training, supervision and delegation on shift.
• Administer and order medications as needed.

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in a residential care setting with proven team leadership skills.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents' needs and wellbeing.
