Clinical Lead Nurse

In this role you will guide and support the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of care for residents. Your responsibilities will include managing staff rotas, conducting performance appraisals, leading clinical audits, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans - all while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Develop and manage staff rotas to ensure optimal nursing coverage and excellent patient care
• Provide supervision, coaching, and ongoing training to nursing staff, fostering professional growth
• Conduct regular performance appraisals and deliver constructive feedback
• Lead clinical audits to monitor quality of care and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, health and safety, and clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans for residents
• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current, valid nursing license
• Proven experience in a clinical managerial or supervisory role in a Nursing Home setting
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills in resident care
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
