Research Director – Med Tech Market Research

⭐ Remote first (London office)

⭐ Primarily US clients, working UK hours

⭐ Salary up to £110K + bonus + great benefits package

We’re hiring an experienced Research Director to join a market leading healthcare research consultancy, due to growth within the business. Who can hit the ground running in a senior, hands-on Med Tech research role.

This is a hands-on, senior role with real autonomy, client ownership and clear progression. You’ll line manage 2 researchers (1 SRE, 1 RM) and act as the senior lead across the full project lifecycle.

• Lead qual & quant Med Tech studies end-to-end (kick-off to final report)
• Own client relationships: calls, presentations, ongoing engagement
• Design and oversee screeners, guides and surveys
• Lead analysis, storytelling and report writing
• Manage and mentor junior researchers (RMs / SREs)
• Collaborate closely with UK and US teams on mixed client projects
• Initially delivery-led, with scope to take on more account management over time.

• 7–8+ years’ market research experience, including Med Tech experience
• Strong exposure to areas such as surgical devices, urology, GI, women’s health, cardiovascular (or similar)
• Confident across both qual and quant
• Proven experience leading studies
• Client-facing and comfortable managing healthcare accounts
• People management or strong project leadership experience
