Surgical First Assistant

Just Nurses is recruiting an experienced Surgical First Assistant for a hospital based in London. The role offers a range of shift patterns and competitive pay of £40 per hour.

As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the operating room, providing essential support to the surgeon. Your duties will include preparing the operating room and sterile equipment, ensuring proper patient positioning and draping, and assisting with surgical instrument handling and suturing.

You must hold an NMC registration with at least six months of validity. You should have a minimum of six months post‑qualification experience as a Surgical First Assistant. You must also be able to meet framework compliance requirements, including DBS, Occupational Health, clinical references and an updated CV. Proof of right to work in the UK is required.
