Learning Support Assistant

Senfocus is seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people (aged 5–16) with Special Educational Needs (SEN) during our half-term short break programme.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs.
• Assist children to access activities safely, including sensory play, creative sessions, sports, and community outings.
• Support emotional regulation using positive behaviour strategies and calm, consistent approaches.
• Promote independence, confidence, and social interaction.
• Follow individual support plans and EHCP outcomes where applicable.
• Work collaboratively with the programme lead and wider team to ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily feedback.
• Support with personal care where required.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies at all times.

Experience: Required
Employment: Part-time
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Salary: £12 – £14 hourly
