We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join the orthopaedic therapy team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. This is a fixed‑term contract opportunity for 9 months. We are a busy team caring for elective and trauma patients.

• Prior experience working in a variety of acute settings inclusive of acute orthopaedics. Experience in respiratory physiotherapy is essential.
• Manage a clinical caseload, support the team with more complex cases, and have supervisory and teaching responsibilities.
• Act as a role model for expert clinical care, lead on specific projects/service developments and management functions as delegated by the Band 7 therapist or Clinical Lead Therapist.
• Role model the identified Trust values at all times.
• Work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management to a designated caseload and maintain up‑to‑date physiotherapy records.
• Apply evidence‑based principles and current best practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions.
• Provide supervision, teaching and support to junior staff, therapy assistants and students on placement.
• Actively participate in the 5 in 7 weekend rota and respiratory on‑call rota.
• Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.

• Band 6 physiotherapy qualification.
