Rate: £24–£34 per hour
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Band 6 and 7 Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapists to join our client’s team in London. This role involves providing specialised assessment and intervention for adults with acute speech, language, and communication disorders. The successful candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to clients, ensuring their communication needs are met effectively.
Responsibilities- Assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans
- Monitoring client progress
- Providing education and support to clients and their families
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Participating in clinical audits and service development
- Engaging in continuous professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registered with the HCPC
- Minimum of 2 years (Band
6) or 5 years (Band
7) experience in a clinical setting - Strong knowledge of adult acute speech and language therapy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in clinical assessments and treatment planning
- Commitment to professional development
