Cardiology Research Nurse

We are looking for a dynamic & motivated nurse to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department. You will be tasked with the running of a variety of clinical trials, in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines. You will be an engaged part of our team and eager to learn about research.

We are the biggest cardiovascular centre in Europe and have a growing portfolio of interventional research for cardiac patients. The post is for a one-year fixed term contract position in the first instance with possibility of extension.

• Take a leading role in the running of a portfolio of cardiology research, initiate and manage different projects within the department.

• RN with significant post‑registration experience and a strong cardiology background.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; computer literate, flexible, able to manage own time effectively.
• Excellent time management and IT skills.
• Experience of formal and informal teaching and clinical research deemed advantageous.
