About The JobThe post holder will act as module leader, teaching and assessing learners across BSc Physiotherapy and shared Allied Health content. Guided by experienced University Academics, you will work with the course team to provide teaching support to students and apprentices, and serve as an academic advisor to diverse learners. You will assist in developing the professional, academic, research, and scholarly profile of Physiotherapy and Allied Health within the school, the university, and the local community.
HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist is required; prior teaching experience is desirable.
- Assisting the course team in developing, delivering, and assessing the Physiotherapy course within the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience, including creating new material.
- Using excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure high‑quality learning and module content organisation.
- Collaborating with the course team, clinical practice staff, and service users to deliver modules that meet the needs of service users and their carers.
- Enhancing interprofessional collaboration and events within Allied Health and the wider school.
- Supporting engagement with partner NHS Trusts and other stakeholders, and assisting learners and placement facilitators in practice as part of a link‑lecturing team.
