Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Cheshire West and Chester Area for a Health and Safety Advisor.

The responsibilities include conducting health and safety audits, providing expert guidance on compliance with local and international standards, and collaborating with teams to identify risks and implement appropriate safety measures.

Must be able to commute to the office*

Experience
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, CDM compliance and risk management
  • Experience in conducting audits, developing safety procedures and implementing culturally-sensitive safety programs
  • Effective communication, teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to foster a proactive safety culture
  • Proven experience in providing training and building behavior-based safety strategies
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, prioritise tasks efficiently and adapt to dynamic environments
  • Proficiency in preparing reports, analysing data and using relevant computer software
  • Knowledge or experience in construction and high-risk industries is a plus
Qualifications
  • Professional certifications, such as NEBOSH or equivalent credentials are required
  • Further qualifications and courses will be provided by the company
