Overview

Sure Care Central London is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dementia‑trained Care Assistants to support individuals living with dementia in their own homes and in community settings. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference by promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person‑centred dementia care.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high‑quality dementia care in line with individual care plans
  • Supporting clients with personal care, medication prompts, and daily routines
  • Offering emotional reassurance and meaningful companionship
  • Using effective communication techniques to support individuals with memory loss
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing
  • Working in line with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting individuals living with dementia
  • Completion of dementia awareness or dementia care training (or willingness to undertake training)
  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
  • NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience in home care, supported living, or residential settings
  • Medication administration training
  • Knowledge of person‑centred and life‑story approaches
