Care First Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Occupational Therapists to work across a range of Local Authority services . This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to individuals with complex needs. Primary Purpose of the Role Occupational Therapists work with people of all ages to support independence and improve quality of life across all aspects of daily living, including home, school, and workplace environments.
You will assess, plan, and deliver interventions for individuals with complex needs, including profound and multiple physical or sensory disabilities. Locations Hackney Lambeth Islington Brent Haringey Enfield Hours 36 hours per week Key Duties and Responsibilities Undertake complex, holistic, person-centred assessments, support planning, and reviews for individuals with a range of health conditions Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Adhere to legal social care frameworks and all relevant policies and procedures Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments in line with legislation Deliver a consistently person-centred service Empower individuals to maximise their abilities using a strengths-based model and whole-family approach Develop and advise on rehabilitation plans that promote choice, independence, and wellbeing Assess and advise on the need for adaptations to promote independence for disabled people Support individuals to maintain independence within their homes and communities Provide a wide range of information and advice to promote community-based independence Demonstrate a high level of risk assessment and evaluation, producing detailed and skilled risk assessments Person Specification Professional Occupational Therapy qualification recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (Diploma in Occupational Therapy or BSc in Occupational Therapy) Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a statutory or health setting Ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) background check Why Join Care First Recruitment Ltd?
