We are looking to recruit a Full time Health Visitor Administrator to fill a vacancy within the Camden Health Visiting Administration Team. As part of your role, you will be supporting the Health Visiting Service to deliver high standards of care to children and families within the community.

We are seeking an organised and motivated Health Visitor Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Health Visiting Service, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of care to children and families within the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing referrals, coordinating appointments and clinics, supporting the duty health visitor, handling telephone and email enquiries, and maintaining accurate electronic patient records in line with confidentiality and data protection standards.

The role also includes minute taking at meetings, monitoring and ordering stock, ensuring clinical equipment is serviced and recorded appropriately, and liaising with Estates regarding office and facilities matters. You will work closely with Health Visitors, other healthcare professionals, and partner agencies, providing high-quality administrative support that underpins the effective delivery of community healthcare services. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload are essential.

Main duties of the job include providing high quality, comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Health Visiting Team, contributing to the effective delivery of services to children and families within the community. The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills and have the ability to work independently, using discretion, judgement and critical analysis where appropriate to support the smooth running of the service.

Please note: This vacancy does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker sponsorship, unless you meet the criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. “Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.”
