As a Support Worker, you will join an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism conditions. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important.

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards a valued and fulfilled life. Your day‑to‑day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

The shift patterns include working 7.5 hours a day on shifts 7am – 2.30pm and 2.30pm – 10pm, including weekends on a rota basis. Permanent, 37.5 hours full‑time contract. Extra hours are optional.

• No specific qualifications are required, but experience in a similar role or working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism would be beneficial.
