TORTUS - Leading NHS ambient AI co‑pilot

Job Description: Join the leading enterprise NHS solution as a Business Development Manager, converting warm hospital leads into long‑term contracts. You will navigate complex NHS procurement cycles, deliver clinical demos, and design pilot programmes. This is a high‑impact role at a rapidly scaling healthtech startup dedicated to eliminating clinician documentation burden through real‑time AI.

Location: London, UK

Why this role is remarkable
  • Sell a proven, MHRA Class I registered product already deployed across NHS trusts and ambulance services with peer‑reviewed evidence showing 25% documentation time savings
  • Join an elite team founded by an NHS doctor and Entrepreneur First alumni at a critical inflection point of strong product‑market fit and rapid growth
  • Enjoy direct access to founders and a scaling commercial team while representing the clear market leader in the fast‑growing NHS ambient AI sector
What you will do
  • Conduct structured discovery with CCIOs and finance directors to understand clinical and operational needs while designing successful pilot programmes
  • Navigate complex NHS procurement processes including tenders, business cases, and trust approvals to move opportunities from warm lead to contract
  • Maintain full pipeline visibility in Hub Spot and provide critical feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on hospital stakeholder objections and needs
The ideal candidate
