An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Compliance & Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established operation in South West London. This is a key role within the business, offering long-term stability and genuine progression opportunities for an experienced H&S professional looking to make a real impact.
What you'll do:
Oversee site-wide compliance and health & safety procedures across a commercial environment.
Review, prepare and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to ensure safe systems of work are in place.
Issue and manage permits to work, ensuring all contractor activities are compliant and controlled.
Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits to maintain high safety standards.
Monitor compliance with current health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
Investigate incidents, produce reports, and implement corrective actions where required.
Work closely with management, engineers, and contractors to promote a strong safety culture across site.
Maintain accurate compliance documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll bring:
NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification (desirable).
Previous experience in a compliance or health & safety role within a commercial or facilities environment.
Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, audits, and risk management processes.
Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
