Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – East London
Are you an experienced RVN looking to elevate your career in a vibrant and bustling practice? Nestled in the heart of East London, this dynamic "mini hub" offers an exceptional role for a dedicated RVN eager to advance their skills in a stimulating environment.
Why This Role Stands OutThis position has become available due to a valued RVN embarking on new adventures. The practice is renowned for its fast‑paced yet supportive atmosphere, making it perfect for those who thrive in a hospital setting but appreciate the close‑knit feel of a branch.
Practice DetailsThe practice is among the busiest in the group, collaborating closely with a nearby consult‑only clinic to manage advanced surgical cases. The practice is continually investing in its facilities, recently acquiring a new ultrasound machine to support its diverse and expansive caseload.
Facility FeaturesThe facility features two consulting rooms, a spacious prep and theatre area, separate cat and dog wards, and a well‑equipped lab.
Flexible Working OptionsFor those seeking part‑time work, this role offers a fantastic alternative to full‑time locum positions, providing the stability and benefits of permanent employment. This flexibility allows you to have time with your family, pursue hobbies, volunteer, or take on additional shifts at your discretion.
For full‑time candidates, the role entails a 40‑hour workweek, including a 1:4 branch Saturday rotation and a 1:10 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Hospital, plus one bank holiday per year at Wanstead.
Team and SupportYou will join a large, supportive team of vets, a senior RVN, students, and trainee nurses. The team is known for its camaraderie and ability to pull together during challenging times. The practice is backed by a 24‑hour Veterinary Hospital, ensuring your patients receive top‑notch OOH and specialist care when needed. Additionally, you will have the full support of a dedicated regional manager.
