Location: Greater London

The patient pathway lead will work closely with the Deputy Service Manager and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high‑quality, efficient service for patients across the entire care pathway.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert knowledge of patient pathway and administrative procedures.
  • Supervise and lead the delivery of a high‑quality service, focusing on a positive patient experience and excellent customer service.
  • Support the team in managing the whole patient pathway, from referral to discharge, including first outpatient appointment, diagnostics, treatment planning, treatment, and follow‑up appointments.
  • Act as a source of expert advice and support for troubleshooting non‑routine matters or resolving initial complaints.
  • Monitor waiting lists and capacity, proactively addressing issues and working with senior managers and clinicians to resolve them, ensuring access and quality targets are met.
