About Orri

Orri is a private eating disorder treatment clinic in London, providing intensive day treatment and outpatient services in person and online. We are the only specialist eating disorder clinic in the UK to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) across all five inspection areas.

Our mission is to provide a ‘stepped approach’ to recovery that offers an alternative to inpatient hospitalisation. We treat the whole person, not just the symptoms, providing specialist eating disorder treatment for young people and adults aged 13+, with flexible weekly support, including more intensive full and part day programmes for those aged 16 and over.

Why Orri?

At Orri, we believe that recovery is possible for everyone. We operate as a deeply collaborative, multidisciplinary team where every role, from our specialist clinicians to our operations and support team members, plays a vital part in our clients' journey toward freedom.

We pride ourselves on being a relationship‑led organisation. This means we value kindness, collaboration and curiosity above all else. When you join Orri, you aren’t just taking a job; you are joining a community of experts committed to excellence, innovation, and, most importantly, the people we serve.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Somatic Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver body‑based therapeutic interventions within a specialist eating disorder service recognised for innovation and outstanding clinical care.

Working across both our Day Treatment and Outpatient services, you will support clients to reconnect safely with their bodies, develop greater nervous system regulation, process trauma where appropriate, and strengthen embodiment throughout recovery. You will deliver individual and group interventions that complement psychological, psychiatric, occupational therapy and dietetic treatment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about integrating evidence‑informed somatic approaches into holistic eating disorder recovery and confident working collaboratively within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

  • Facilitate body‑based therapeutic groups within the Day Treatment Programme.
  • Provide individual somatic therapy sessions tailored to each client's treatment goals.
  • Support clients to improve body awareness, emotional regulation, interoceptive awareness and nervous system resilience.
  • Adapt interventions appropriately for clients presenting with trauma, anxiety, neurodiversity and complex mental health needs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high‑quality clinical documentation.
Multidisciplinary Working
  • Contribute actively to multidisciplinary treatment planning and clinical review meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, nurses and family therapists.
  • Share specialist knowledge of somatic approaches to support integrated treatment planning.
  • Contribute to risk management and safeguarding discussions where appropriate.
Programme Development
  • Support the ongoing development of Orri's somatic therapy offering.
  • Design and evaluate innovative body‑based group programmes.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance client engagement and recovery outcomes.
  • Participate in service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
