Pharmacy Assistant
Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 | Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, London | Pharmacy | Permanent (37.5hrs)
As a Pharmacy Assistant at The Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, you will assist the Pharmacy team by providing support to deliver an efficient pharmacy service.
Responsibilities- Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate inventory
- Dispose of medicines in accordance with statutory requirements
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations
- Assemble monthly stock evaluation reports
- Store all pharmaceutical products appropriately, maintaining security and correct environmental conditions
- Follow the correct procedures and any relevant policies and guidelines at all times, including infection prevention and control policy and guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Valuable hands‑on experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
- Support and supervision from experienced pharmacists and technicians
- Opportunity to develop knowledge and skills
