Start your career in an innovative Adult ADHD Service

Are you passionate about helping people participate in the occupations that matter most to them? Would you like to be part of an innovative new multidisciplinary service supporting adults with ADHD?

The newly established NELFT Adult ADHD Service provides a holistic model of care incorporating both clinical and social support tailored to individual needs. Covering Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest, the service provides a comprehensive pathway for adults from assessment through to ongoing management of ADHD.

Working alongside Psychiatry, Psychology, Pharmacy and senior Occupational Therapists, you will provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to support adults experiencing the functional impact of ADHD.

You will deliver individual and group interventions that help people develop practical strategies for routines, organisation, executive functioning, time management, emotional regulation, sensory self-management and participation in work, education and community life.

You will receive regular supervision and development opportunities while building specialist knowledge and skills within an experienced multidisciplinary team. As a new service, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development and help shape the future of Occupational Therapy within Adult ADHD services.

This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys collaborative working, values person-centred practice and is passionate about enabling people to achieve meaningful occupational goals.

High Cost Area Supplement Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, CEME)

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 p.a. pro rata for part time).
