KM256451* - Clinical Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen. We are looking to recruit compassionate and motivated Clinical Support Workers to join our teams within the Blair Unit at Royal Cornhill Hospital.

These services provide care and treatment for individuals experiencing acute and complex mental health needs, including those requiring intensive support and those within low secure forensic environments. You will play a key role in supporting patients on their recovery journey within a safe, therapeutic setting.

This position does not meet the criteria required for visa sponsorship and, as such, NHS Grampian is unable to provide sponsorship for this post.

• Deliver high-quality, person-centered care under the supervision of registered nursing staff
• Support patients with daily living activities, therapeutic interventions, and engagement in recovery-focused care
• Work within both IPCU and forensic environments, supporting individuals with complex mental health presentations
• Observe, monitor, and accurately report changes in patient condition
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic ward environment
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff where appropriate

• Have experience working in a healthcare, social care, or mental health setting
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships
• Are compassionate, resilient, and adaptable in challenging environments
• Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Are committed to delivering safe, dignified, and recovery-focused care
