Supporting musculoskeletal foot health in primary care:

Are you passionate about helping people maintain and improve their mobility, independence and quality of life? Are you interested in working in a multi-disciplinary team where your podiatry expertise is a valued and essential part of care for people with lymphatic and venous disease?

We are looking for a dedicated podiatrist to join Accelerate CIC's team. You will be working autonomously and as part of the specialist nursing teams in providing high-quality lower limb assessments and treatments and foot, ankle and gait related issues, preventative interventions and identification of foot and ankle related complications.

This is a full-time role, but we will consider a part-time role with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the jobThis role delivers expert podiatric and biomechanics care across the Centre of Excellence based in East London. Key duties include managing complex foot and ankle conditions and gait related / mobility impairments; delivering tailored treatment plans; and supporting quality improvements and service development.

Working under the Clinical Lead and with specialist mentorship the post holder will ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery and will contribute to ongoing quality improvement, KPIs and audit activity.

The post holder will act as a clinical role model, contributing to education through collaboration with the Accelerate Academy. The role requires autonomous practice within a disciplinary team, championing personalised care plans and integrating podiatry and physical therapy, orthotic management and wider lower-limb rehabilitation for people with lymphatic and venous disease.

If you want to help redefine what excellent foot and ankle care looks like for this patient group, then this is the role for you.
