We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a young lady who is deaf & blind and has learning disabilities based in London, SW18 area. Must have a qualification in British sign language

• You’ll spend your whole shift with one person, no travelling between sites, just focused, meaningful support.

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £19.50 per hour

This position involves an average of 20 hours per week, including day shifts and waking night shifts. Shift patterns are:

• 8am until 3pm – Monday to Sunday
• 3pm to 10pm – Monday to Sunday
• 10pm to 8am – Monday to Sunday

• Support with personal care
• Support with nutritional intake via Gastrostomy
• Support to maintain a safe environment
• Administering medication when required
• Supporting with our clients sensory needs and regulation

• A qualification in British sign language
• A caring and empathetic nature
• Good communication skills
• A genuine desire to support others
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills
• Must have a qualification in British sign language
• Experience supporting people with a learning disability and challenging behaviour would be an advantage but not essential.
