We are looking for a passionate and dedicated AMHP Service Manager to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AMHP to manage the Southwark day-time AMHP Service and lead on related issues across the department. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and effective Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) service in line with current legislation, Council policy and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overall management and coordination of the day-time AMHP service, including the AMHP rota.
• Line management and supervision of an Advanced Practitioner, two full-time AMHPs and a Business Support Officer.
• Providing professional leadership, guidance and support on complex assessments.
• Supporting and supervising AMHPs across the borough, including coordinating and leading the AMHP forum.
