Band 6 Occupational Therapist – CAMHS & Eating Disorders Salary: up to £50,000

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist service in London, supporting young people with CAMHS and eating disorder presentations
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health or CAMHS to work within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.

You will provide person-centred occupational therapy assessment and intervention, helping young people develop healthy routines, meaningful occupations, coping strategies, and greater independence throughout their recovery.

• Manage a specialist CAMHS and eating disorder OT caseload
• Complete comprehensive occupational and functional assessments
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Support young people with establishing healthy routines and meaningful activities
• Use occupation-based interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing
• Contribute to risk assessments, care planning and multidisciplinary reviews
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, dietitians and other professionals
• Provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions where appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Experience with in CAMHS, mental health or eating disorder services

Strong understanding of occupational therapy within a mental health setting

Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Specialist CAMHS and eating disorder environment

Supportive multidisciplinary team
