We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our private client’s team in South East London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will perform culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens. You will detect bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques.
Qualifications and Experience- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with culture and sensitivity testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
