We need a Qualified Psychologist who’s passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs. Joining our team on a full time basis, you will be working 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days. Maximising positive outcomes & recovery for our patients– it’s a challenging, satisfying vocation.

Hospital Harrow
Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. We also offer specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
Your day-to-day- Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups
- Work systemically with staff, as well as directly with service users
- Consult with staff, families & other agencies about the psychological care of the client group
- Offer psychological insight & knowledge to the multidisciplinary team
- Support the clinical, nursing & direct care teams in making skilled evaluations & decisions about risk
- Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research
- An experienced Psychologist, ideally with an adult mental health client group
- Experienced in working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledgeable of mental health legislation, risk assessment & risk management principles
- Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical & DBT
- Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
- Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending & drug & alcohol problems
- An excellent communicator
- Salary:
Up to £65,000pa DOE - 25 days annual leave plus Bank holidays
