North London has an opportunity for a Hospital Director to join our team.
North London Hospital, is located in in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands.
It's one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). We also offer private autism assessments for adults.
What you'll be doingThis is a high-profile leadership role for an individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding mental healthcare services while creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and patients receive the highest standards of care.
- Provide strategic leadership to deliver outstanding patient outcomes, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
- Lead the hospital's financial, commercial, and quality performance, ensuring budgets and targets are achieved.
- Drive business growth, with a strong focus on private patient opportunities and market development.
- Build effective relationships with NHS, private healthcare, consultant, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Develop and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability, engagement, and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
- Champion a positive, inclusive culture that balances commercial success with exceptional patient care.

What you'll bring to the role- Extensive experience within the private healthcare sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of improving financial performance and delivering growth.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to build, influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of both NHS and private healthcare markets.
- Clinical qualifications are not essential; however, significant private healthcare leadership experience is considered critical.
