About the Co-Located IDVA roleAs part of the Safe Horizons London Partnership, you will provide specialist domestic abuse advocacy to LGBT+ victim-survivors accessing services through Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Working within the hospital whilst remaining an independent advocate employed and supervised by Galop, you will deliver high-quality advocacy, risk assessment and safety planning, build strong partnerships with NHS professionals, promote awareness of LGBT+ domestic abuse and improve access to specialist support.
This is a unique opportunity to influence practice within healthcare whilst supporting survivors through complex, high-risk situations.
Hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week based across Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Galop's London office.
HoursFull Time (35 hours per week)
Reports to:Senior IDVA/Advocacy & Support Manager
You will start on scale point F3, £33,771.85 per year (including London Weighting of £4,296.25).
