Optometrist

Optometrist – Independent Practice, Beckenham, Greenwich and Bromley (Full or Part Time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Optometrist that is flexible working between our Beckenham, Bromley or Greenwich branches. We're not a high volume corporate environment and believe in ensuring you have the clinical time to deliver high quality eyecare. You will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, contact lens appointments, diagnosing eye conditions and providing expert advice on eyecare and lens recommendations.

Led by an experienced DO Management team our aim is to provide a personalised customer journey combined with exceptional customer service for every patient. We stock a large selection of eyewear brands such as Cutler & Gross, Gucci, Lindberg, Kirk & Kirk and the stores are designed with relaxed boutique interiors. The store is well equipped with OCT, Thomson test chart and autorefractor.

You will be supported with a friendly and welcoming team and will work closely with our experienced Managers to contribute towards store growth and strengthen our current reputation.

Qualifications

• Optometry degree and GOC registered
• Qualified for a minimum of two years practising as an Optometrist
• Preferably SEL MECs accredited with GOS testing
• Professionally conducting eye examinations, contact lens work and diagnosing eye conditions with OCT knowledge and experience
• Strong knowledge of corrective lens options
• Experience in dry eye clinics and Myopia management would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well and motivate others in a team environment
• Contribute and support with staff training
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities
• Customer service skills and a patient centered approach
• Be commercially aware supporting the team in achieving growth and reaching targets

Working hours:

Clinics run Monday-Saturday with 45 minute testing.

Monday-Friday 10-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm
