As our National NHS Services Manager (Business Development),you'llplay a key role in driving NHS activity, revenuegrowthand operational excellence across our hospital network. Working closely with hospital leaders, NHSstakeholdersand central support teams,you'llideallyprovideexpert guidance on NHS commissioning, contracting and performance, helpingidentifygrowth opportunities, improveprocessesand strengthen strategic NHS partnerships across the charity, with acrucialunderstanding of how to develop business.
Asour National NHS Services Manager (Business Development), you will:
- Drive NHS activity, revenuegrowthand market share across our hospitals, using data and insight toidentifyopportunities and working with local hospital teams tosupport local delivery.
- Support annual NHS commissioning and contracting cycles, including contract negotiations,governance and risk management.
- Provide expert advice on NHS commissioning, contracting, payment systems and operational best practice.
- Supportdevelopmentand implementation ofNHS data quality standards and performance reporting that support effective decision-making and revenue optimisation.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships with NHS England, ICBs, NHS Trusts and other key stakeholders to support partnership growth.
- Support national projects,bidsand tenders, ensuring successful implementation across hospital sites.
- Collaborate with operational, finance, revenue,ITand data teams to improve NHS processes and deliver positive commercial outcomes.
- Significant experience of NHS commissioning, contracting and relationship management, ideally within an Independent Healthcare Provider or similar environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data andidentifyopportunities to drive activity and revenue growth.
- Proven business development experience and track recordof building successful partnerships with complex stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively at both operational and strategic levels.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
