Healthcare Support Worker, Level or Senior

The HSW will liaise closely with and report directly to the Lead Nurses for Sexual Health. The HSW will work under the direct supervision of a first level registered nurse and within guidelines and protocols.,

• 1. To have an appropriate knowledge of HIV and Sexual Health, and the treatment and management of these conditions.
• 2. To promote a sensitive and caring approach to patient, visitors and colleagues.
• 3. Refer on to senior nursing/medical team any significant clinical issues/unwell patients.
• 2. To be a part of the HIV and Sexual Health Care Team, providing high quality holistic care to clients accessing HIV, Sexual Health, Contraceptive and Reproductive Healthcare Services.
• 3. To provide clinical and clerical support within the HIV and Sexual Health team.
