Supply Chain Inventory Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Supply chain Inventory Operative within the Procurement service. We are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Inventory Operative within the Procurement Shared service. The appointment to this post will be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The role will be responsible for the stock control of multi locations within Queen Elizabeth, varying from Wards to Theatres using a Automated Omnicell Ordering System.

The successful candidate must be able to prioritise competing demands for the service, be able to learn quickly to understand the complexity of the service.

Experience in Supply Chain is required. Omnicell experience is preferred.

The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust Procurement Shared Service provides a specialist support for several NHS trusts within London including Guy's and St Thomas' hospital sites and the Evelina Children's Hospital as well as Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust.

These day-to-day services will be managed in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. The post holder will be responsible for the inventory stock holding in clinical departments.

A key operational role that will be the face of the service, providing a world class inventory stock management system. This role will be part of a small onsite team restocking and ordering in clinical areas from theaters to wards and clinics in a highly effective supply chain service
