Support Worker - Adults Disabilities

Position: Support Worker - Adults Disabilities & Older People
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, committed to promoting and maintaining a high standard of care. This role focuses on ensuring the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of residents in our home, respecting the personal rights of each individual. Day-to-day of the role:
Understand and address individual resident needs, promoting dignity and respect. Encourage and assist residents to achieve maximum independence within their capabilities. Attend to personal hygiene needs of residents, including assistance with grooming, bathing, and toileting. Provide support with walking, feeding, and dressing to ensure comfort and well-being. Administer first aid as necessary and respond promptly to health emergencies. Serve meals and drinks, ensuring dietary needs are met in accordance with health guidelines.

Accompany residents to medical appointments and assist in the documentation and follow-up of medical treatments. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Experience in a caregiving role preferred, but not essential. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, patient, and caring nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. First Aid certification is advantageous.
