The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
We are looking for a Dietetic Support Worker to join our specialist Community and Hospital Enteral Nutrition Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside dietitians and multidisciplinary colleagues to support patients who rely on tube feeding in a variety of settings, including their own homes, care homes and hospitals.
This varied role combines direct patient support, education and training, service improvement, and administration. You will play a key role in helping ensure patients receive safe, effective nutritional care, while also supporting carers, healthcare staff and partner organisations. No two days are the same, offering the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and gain valuable experience within a specialist clinical service.
We are seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine interest in nutrition. Experience in a health, social care or related setting is essential. Good IT skills would be advantageous.
In return, we offer a supportive learning environment with opportunities for training, professional development and skill enhancement. Whether you are looking to build on existing experience or develop a career within nutrition and healthcare, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to improving nutritional outcomes across Tayside.
