Clinical Psychologist role
The Clinical Psychologist will play a key role working with the MDT to assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders within our Neurodiversity Service. They will deliver therapeutic interventions to support and expand the clinical pathway for patients in all Recognition Health Services, in both the UK/US and future entities. Working as part of a team, and in collaboration with on site colleagues, the Clinical Psychologist will ensure our patients receive a responsive and high quality service.
Role Specific:
- 1. Assess and diagnose disorders using interviews, case histories, observations, and psychological tests
- 2. Develop and implement treatment plans, including psychotherapy, behavior modification, and other therapeutic methods
- 3. Support the children’s department by conducting ADOS-2 assessment as part of the overall autism assessment clinic
- 4. Provide individual, group, and family therapy to support emotional and behavioral adjustment
- 5. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed, documenting clinical work, including session notes, diagnoses, and treatment plans in the appropriate systems.
- 6. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings as well as in reflective practice groups and external collaboratives where appropriate
- 7. Contribute to the expansion of the department’s pathways and services
- 8. Promote the service through engagement with neurodevelopmental publications and charities
- 9. Support marketing efforts
- 10. From time to time support the Director of Clinical Services with organizing, running and supporting the overall private clinic
- 11. If needed, travel to other sites, clients’ houses, or conduct assessments or sessions remotely
Salary: £65-80K per annum, depending on experience
Role: Permanent full time, will accept applications for part time
Location: London
Essential:- Qualified Clinical Psychologist, HPCP registered
- Experience with ADOS-2
- Experience with both children and adults
- IT Proficiency (Microsoft Office package)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
