The Audit Co
- Ordinator is primarily responsible for the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre (ICNARC) data collection. This involves the daily collection and classificationofpatient’s clinical data and demographics and uploading this data to online database platform. This involves being responsible for collating national mandated monthly and quarterly reports. The post holder will be working in a clinical environment within the Critical care Unit, which involves collecting data at the patient’s bedspace.

The critical care unit cares for the sickest patients in the hospital and supports their friends and relatives during their admission

The post holder will be fully trained and supported by the clinical team in Critical Care, the post holder will be expected to manage this data, liaising with both ICNARC, Critical Care Consultants and Nurse Leads. The post holder will be expected to run monthly reports for unit and for areas outside of Critical Care, daily review of patient records within Critical Care to ensure data collection is completed in a timely manner and liaising with other hospitals sites for up-to-date data of transferred patients.
