Specialist Clinician; Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist

The South Camden Community Team (SCCT) supports the emotional well-being needs of young people (0-18 years) with assessment and evidence-based therapeutic clinical work. It is a rich multi-disciplinary team made up of a range of clinical disciplines to include:
Child Psychotherapy, Clinical/Counselling Psychology, CBT Therapy, Family Therapy and Psychiatry. The team works closely with partners in the borough to include: schools, local authority and the voluntary sector with a view to meeting the diverse needs of the young people and families.

The post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate of programs of evidencedbasedcaretoserviceusers, whilst being conscious of their changing healthcare needs and varying levels of complexity, working collaboratively, with other clinicians and stakeholders. They will offer short, medium and longer-term interventions, including parent-work and group-work if appropriate. Thepostholderwillholdahighly complex caseload. In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of evidencebasedinterventions andberesponsiblefor the formulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care. The post holder will be required to work on Thursdays to attend MDT and other team meetings.
