This programme runs over a 15‑month timeframe, with a learning period of 12 months and an end‑point assessment (EPA) of up to 3 months.
The Adult Care Worker apprenticeship is a great opportunity for learners to develop their skills and knowledge to help adults with care and support needs to achieve theirpersonal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, allowing them tohave control and choice in
their lives. Working in care makes a positive difference to someone’s life when theyare faced with physical,practical, social, emotional
or intellectual challenges.
Adult Care Workers work in residential or nursing homes,domiciliary care,day centres, or a person’s own home.
This course is for:
- New entrants to the healthcare sector, depending on the job role
- Individuals working in the Care sector
Included in the programme:
- BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Care (England)
- Care Certificate
- Functional Skills English and Maths Level 2
Apprentices who complete the Care Worker programme aim to progress to senior roles, including Lead Adult Care Workers, Key Workers, and Mental Health Outreach Workers.
