We are currently recruiting experienced Surgical First Assistants (SFAs) to work within the Theatres department of a well-established private hospital in North England
.

The successful candidate will support the surgical team throughout procedures, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre staff to ensure safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities will include assisting during surgical procedures, maintaining the sterile field, preparing and handling surgical instruments, supporting patient positioning, and ensuring high standards of infection prevention and patient safety.

We are looking for professional, reliable and experienced Surgical First Assistants who are confident working within a busy Theatre environment and committed to delivering high standards of patient care.

• Relevant Surgical First Assistant qualification
• Previous UK Theatres experience required
• Recent Surgical First Assistant experience required
• Previous experience working within a hospital Theatre environment
• Good knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary Theatre team
• Current NMC registration or relevant professional registration
• Right to work in the UK
