The main responsibilities of this role will be to design CRISPR-mediated gene knockdown of zebrafish orthologues for novel putative Brugada genes and undertake functional analyses to assess the effect of these knockdowns on heart function. You will also be expected to implement new techniques and optimize protocols critical to the project and provide technical expertise and input for troubleshooting of experiments.

It is expected that you will work with limited supervision and contribute to data analysis and interpretation.

We are looking for a person with a PhD in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline.
